How many people can the space accommodate?
The room features a long table seating up to 24 people, including two seats at the ends.
What is the internet connection like?
The internet connection is good, with stable Wi-Fi coverage throughout the entire area.
What technical equipment is available?
We provide a screen, sound system (speakers and audio mixer), and a camera.
Can the room be arranged differently if needed?
Unfortunately, this is not possible, as the table is large and fixed as a single unit.
Are there separate areas for group work?
The meeting room and relaxation area on the second floor can be used for group work.
Do you offer catering, or do you collaborate with external caterers or suppliers?
We do not provide catering, so guests arrange food and beverages themselves. You are welcome to prepare the meal together here, which is often a pleasant and team-building activity for the group. Alternatively, food can be ordered and delivered; in that case, we recommend Viergo AS.
What is the rental price per day / half day?
Full day: NOK 8,000
Half day: NOK 4,000
Is parking available?
We offer parking for 12–14 cars, and have three electric vehicle charging stations available. Additional parking is available along the road.
Do you offer package rates including accommodation?
Please feel free to contact us for accommodation package rates – we aim to tailor them to your needs and number of guests.
Is it possible to combine the meeting with activities in the area?
Yes, we’re happy to help with suggestions for walks, experiences, and breaks in the surrounding area.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made four weeks before check-in receive a 100% refund.
- Cancellations made two weeks before check-in receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than two weeks before check-in are non-refundable.

How many guests can we invite?
There is seating for 24 guests around the table. We recommend a maximum of 24 people.
Are the premises suitable for both seated and standing events?
The venue is best suited for seated events.
Do you have a kitchen that a chef can use?
We have a professional kitchen with equipment that a chef can use.
Is it allowed to bring your own food or drinks?
Absolutely. Bringing your own food and drinks is permitted.
Alcohol:
The tenant may bring and consume alcoholic beverages on the premises during their event, provided it is a private function. The landlord does not offer the sale or serving of alcohol. The tenant is responsible for complying with alcohol regulations, including age limits, and for any damage or inconvenience arising from alcohol consumption.
Do you have glassware, tableware, and table linens?
Yes. We have glassware, tableware, and table linens.
Is there the possibility to play music / use a sound system?
We do not have a sound system in the venue, but tenants are welcome to bring their own equipment if they wish.
How long can the event last in the evening?
The event may continue into the night, but preferably without loud music or shouting after midnight. This also depends somewhat on other guests at the venue.
What is the accessibility like for guests with reduced mobility?
The venue has an elevator to the second floor and an accessible restroom on the first floor.
Can we decorate the venue ourselves?
Of course! You are welcome to decorate the venue yourselves.
Can we combine the celebration with activities on the water?
Yes, you can, but unfortunately there are no shower facilities in the Salmasalen.
